I have a replacement bulb for the Sanyo Pro xtrax projector and the box it came in lists an 800 number for replacement. It seems strange to me that it just started. So I read the manual and warnings, but I wonder if anyone has run into this before. The LEDs that light up are as follows: Red Warning temp- flashing. It may cause electric shock or a fire hazard." I looked but I dont think this model in particular has one that can be manually reset. Every search I did told me to reset the thermal switch. ![]() Both the warning and lamp light stay off. If the projector is turned off again, disconnect the AC power cord and contact the dealer or the service center for service and checkup. The manual suggested that if there were a fault, it would indicate it with the warning light or the lamp replace light. Unplug the AC Power Cord and plug it again to turn on the projector. The user manual has this to say about the flashing LEDs "The projector detects an abnormal condition and cannot be turned on. The Sanyo Pro xTrax projector, model number PLC-XP07N, was a multimedia projector first sold in November of 1999. Later it did this twice during the event. ![]() While this feature is not useful for business presenters who place a projector on a table to project on the go, it is extremely helpful for permanently attached projectors. This week when I tried to use it for a different event, it turned itself off, and flashed two LEDs on the top, and would not turn on again until it was disconnected from the power supply and re-connected. Most projectors allow you to invert the image that they project. My Sanyo PLC-XP56 worked just fine for a show last week.
